    First things first: sign up and join the wellness portal and community!   • STEP 2: Explore The Wellness Portal

    Once you are in the portal, you get to explore! Ask questions, engage with the rest of the community, or check out the recipe section for inspiration! Watch Q+As, guest speakers and workshops. Or hit the search bar and dive into learning about a topic of interest. The portal is your oyster!

  • STEP 3: Dig Deeper, Work With Us + Order Labs!

    This is for those that want to dig deeper and get a more individualized nutrition + supplement root cause protocol based on lab results and your health history/symptoms. This is totally optional and can be done on your own budget. Lab testing does require that you complete our Community Course or a nutrition course that we approve of. More info in FAQ section.

  • Yes! There will be various discussion boards where you can post your questions, comments, tips, experience, advice, etc. for other group members to answer and engage with! We encourage engagement and thought-provoking discussions so we can all get to learn & know each other better.

  • If you can’t make the live calls, don’t stress it! Every Q+A will be recorded, and if you have questions you want answered, we’ll take presubmitted questions. Q+A dates and times will sometimes move around too, so you should be able to join them as your schedule permits!

  • When it comes to running labs, our membership offers you a unique and easy way run the labs you’ve been wanting, without the hefty price tag and commitment of working closely with a practitioner. Through Wild + Well-Fed Wellness Collective, you’ll be able to shop lab tests individually and complete them at your own rate. We’ll provide you with your lab test results, a video interpretation of your results, and a food/supplement protocol to follow. You will have access to our private client section where you can ask questions about your protocol throughout your journey.

    If you want access to lab testing, you’ll have to meet one of the following criteria which will make you a VIP member:

    1. Purchase our self-paced Community Course for a discounted rate through the membership. Complete the course, then complete a short quiz, some paperwork and a food and mood journal so we know you have the foundations down before running labs.

    2. You have previously taken a course by a pro-metabolic practitioner. You will then need to provide us with a receipt of the course, complete a short quiz, some paperwork, and a food and mood journal before running labs. And you must be an active member of Wild + Well Fed Wellness Collective for 3 months.

    3. You have worked 1:1 with Laura or Annika in the past.

    4. You were a student of Laura’s group program.

    Why do we do this? Because we want to ensure that we are providing you with the best possible tools to succeed in healing your body. It would be a disservice for us to interpret a lab for you without you having a strong understanding of the foundations of nutrition. We want to ensure that you understand how and why you need to support your body once you have the test results and your interpretation so that you can move forward with your healing in the most efficient way.

    If you take our course and the required quiz you will become a VIP member and you will be able to order labs and interpretations. You will also have an exclusive private section in the membership portal to ask questions regarding labs and your protocol.

    As of now, we will be offering four functional lab tests as voice interpretations/protocols (listen on your own time) and at additional cost 1:1 support if needed. You will be required to fill out a form on your health history and goals so we can relate your labs to your results and come up with an individual protocol.

  • We switched to only taking clients via the membership after realizing people need more support and guidance than a 3 or 6 month package would allow. It is also more cost and time effective for both the practitioner and the client. We can help more people and you can still get the same care and attention as a client. You also get unlimited support from us in the private client portal as you would working 1:1 with a practitioner making it no different.

    One missing piece to 1:1 work is that healing naturally is a journey, it can take months to years so the membership allows for long term accountability, community, continuous inspiration, and the ability to share your story with others (more important than you think).

    The best part is you choose when and if you want to take courses or run labs. It’s all a la cart and works with your budget. You can join the membership for only $19.99 per month and soak in all the resources, articles and conversations in there. Or you can go all in and buy courses and order labs! It’s all on your own terms!

  • The monthly membership requires a 3 month commitment at minimum ($19.99/month), or you can choose the yearly membership commitment for a rate of $199.99. If you choose the monthly payment, after the 3 month minimum you can cancel at any time.

  • How we work in our practice is addressing minerals and gut first, ALWAYS. Then we move into hormones if needed (most of the time addressing minerals and gut will do the trick and hormone balancing is a nice “side effect”).

    Both Rewild Your Gut and the Community Course are designed to heal your gut, hormones and balance minerals. But they are different.

    Rewild Your Gut is 100% digestion focused. You take a quiz to figure out where your imbalance lies and then you get to create your own protocol based off your results. It is super empowering to be equipped with this education and then be able to create your own protocol without a practitioner and expensive tests.

    The Community Course is dedicated to women's health and hormones - we dive in on thyroid, adrenals, metabolism, biohacking/ health markers, menstrual cycle, progesterone, estrogen, a small bit on digestion and liver, loaded info on nutrition and minerals, all things stress, lifestyle, etc... You name it!

    Most people are doing all three! Membership, Community Course, and Rewild Your Gut. If it's in your budget this is the way to go without needing to spend loads of money on practitioners and labs! You likely will be able to get your health in check with the membership and the courses!

She is a women’s health nutritionist with a focus on metabolism, hormones and digestion.

She is a food first practitioner and helps women conquer their symptoms through mineral balancing, comprehensive lab testing, diet and lifestyle changes. Kaia runs the behind-the-scenes of Wild + Well-Fed. She is passionate about helping women steward their bodies well through education of female physiology and empowering women to know the “why” behind their health decisions. When not working on the membership, she serves women in-person as a birth doula.

Emmalee Thompson RN, FDN-P

Emmalee is a holistically-minded Registered Nurse, Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, and co-author of Eat Your Prenatal. After spending years caring for patients in the mainstream medical system, she decided to pursue her calling to help women find true, lasting whole-body health and wellness.

Her goal is to help women thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually by transitioning from a life of restriction and limitation to a life filled with freedom and vitality. She utilizes diet, life-style change, and functional lab work to address client concerns on a deeper level and tackle imbalances directly. She values the mind-body connection and, in stark contrast to widely-accepted hustle culture, prioritizes slow and intentional living above all else.
